I recently purchased Manawa’s Te Urewera range plus their miere called Pua-a-Tane as I wanted to try something new. These honey varietals are absolutely amazing with such intriguing flavours !!!! I look forward to showcasing these honeys during my upcoming NZ honey tasting sessions .
Lovely packaging and comprehensive product brochures which include really useful photos of native flora like Rewarewa and Tāwari . Ka pai ?great customer service too.

We ordered the Wild Forest (or Pua-a-Tane) Honey online, it was delivered in less than 48 hours, and it's now my favourite honey ever - thanks to its divine and subtly different flavour. And to top it off the honey is made by a Māori-led, sustainable enterprise creating jobs in a remote region. Win-win-win.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have had the pleasure of being in the heart of Tuhoe to see where this honey comes from and experience the way their honey is collected, they ride a horse through this native wonderland collect the honey from the hives and the team will carry out any maintenance if required. Its an experience to behold, just to be in the middle of native forest. How the honey is bottled how they came up with the colours for the labels the history of Manawa Honey then to have a spoonful of honey in my coffee topped it off for me. Our hosts were so lovely I didnt want to go home I highly recommend a visit to pick up your tub of honey.

I highly recommend Manawa Honey and have had the privilege of meeting their team in Ruatahuna to see their work first-hand. I was able to bring some of their honey back to Hawaii and my family loves it!
