About Mangatainoka School
We welcome enquires from people considering enrolling their children at Mangatainoka School. Please contact us if you want to look around our school or to enrol your child. If you have pre-schooler/s and are planning on enrolling your child/ren at Mangatainoka School once they turn 5, could you please contact us.
As of the 1st of February 2020, Mangatainoka School is operating an enrolment scheme or zone. A full explanation of the boundaries for this zone can be viewed below. This zone has been introduced due to rapid roll growth during 2019.
Knowing how many are likely to enrol at our school makes it easier to plan ahead for the best educational out-comes for all.
Contact our Principal or the school office on 06 3768991 about 3 months before your child turns 5 to arrange some school visits. These will help your child (and you) make the transition to school much easier.
When your child makes these school visits you will be given an enrolment pack which contains any further information you may need.
NB: when a child enrols at their first school after turning 5 years old the school must take a copy of their birth certificate. We need the number off the birth certificate in order to enrol your child on the Ministry of Educations database.

FORMS THAT NEED TO BE FILLED OUT TO ENROL YOUR CHILD
1. Pupil Enrolment form—separate triplicate carbon copy sheet
2. Mangatainoka School Contact Details—separate sheet (we take this on trips etc)
3. Personalised action plan for students with asthma (if needed)
4. Cybersafety and permission to use photos form
We also need to take photo copies of birth certificates (only new entrants or enrolling in any NZ school for the first time) and immunisation certificates.
