★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very disappointed at the service provided at the Arts Centre. I bought tickets for Saturday 20th April show at 2pm for Sinarella. Due to family emergency i was late and arrived at 2.30pm, however my mate was keeping me in touch about starting time etc and she confirmed it started at 2.15pm which means we only missed 15mins of the show. I was told i will not be allowed in as it has been half an hour into the show and because there were no more seats, i ended up waiting outside the centre for over an hour. I could have watched most of the show. Very disappointed and a waste of money. Will not be attending anymore shows there if this is the service provided. Need better customer services for the centre!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mangere Arts Centre is a blessing of a resource to this community. The Arts Centre is a radiant beacon of hope and a symbol of growth and opportunity for the people of this community. It is a manifestation of the belief in the potential of the people of this and neighboring communities. The Arts Centre brings talent and experiences into Mangere so that locals can be exposed to elements of the world outside of South Auckland. The space is gorgeous and clean. The community cafe makes some of the yummiest coffee in Auckland from beans grown in Tonga! The staff are friendly and kind. This place rocks.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Held an event (DWT 2018) last year at this location and enjoyed the large stage and the wide variety of stage lights it had to offer. Back stage had a dance studio, several changing rooms, several toilets on both ends of the backstage (for cast and backstage crew) as well as a large backstage loading space for larger items. When looking for a venue to host an event this location is highly recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 'Rainbow Machine' (Spectrums) installation until Friday 11 December. My inner child cannot recommend too highly this interactive work of art. Just add sunshine. I was here today at opening time and had 'Such Fun (Miranda)'. . . The other Gallery features 'The Sisterhood Affair' to 11 December.
