β β β β β Taipa Resort doesn't have a gym but Mangonui, Coopers beach does-just across the bridge. Great people and always so accomodating for us travellers, thanks for your gym and wonderful hospitality you guys. ;). See you again soon.

β β β β β The owner is a very nasty man. Abusive, aggressive and straight up rude. Would not recommend if it was the last gym on earth.

β β β β β Had the most unfortunate and disappointing display of "Far North couldnβt care less attitudeβ than I have experienced in a long time. I have belonged to this gym in the past and always had good experiences. Today, turned up to the gym, the hours on the door and the website said they were open β it was 11am. Everywhere was locked up. Called the mob number on the door 3 times (for access if gym closed). Half an hour after my last call, a male calls and asks βwhatβs upβ. I explain I would like to be a casual member, and the gym is closed. He muttered something about 'the kids' and said he'd probably be in about 2pm. When I asked how I could get access as a casual member his curt response was 'you can't". And that was that. No apology, no suggestions for other days. Nothing. Disgusting customer service, false representation on the door and website and unless this gym changes hands I will not be going back - well I cant get in anyway. My business on this occasion was worth $130 but clearly of no value to them.

β β β β β Really good gym! Big selection of equipment, friendly and helpful staff! Often youβre the only person there which is nice! And not to mention beautiful ocean views from the treadmills!
