★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The owners are attentive without being intrusive. All amenities are available that you want: big bbq, laundry, Netflix, DVD library and player, info. On local eateries. It's like a home away from home. The smaller apartment doesn't have a full kitchen but a microwave and electric kettle along with a fridge was enough for a short visit. The larger apartment has a state of the art kitchen plus everything else mentioned. The hosts go out of their way to help you. Local grocer is just a 2 minute walk and restaurants are a 5 minute walk.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We highly recommend Mapua 41 South! My wife and I recently stayed in the larger Orange unit, while our friend rented the Blue unit. Both options are fully updated with quality finishes and are nicely decorated. While we did not meet his wife Lynn, the owner John is very personable and accommodating. They are readily available if any problem arises, although we had none.
The location is also fantastic. The units are on a quiet street and just a very short walk down the street from several coffee and bakery options. More broadly, they are roughly halfway between Nelson and Abel Tasman NP if you plan to visit the park. Stay at Mapua 41 South and you won't be disappointed!

We love the design detail and the location is perfect. We hope to be back for a third time.
