★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We spent a restorative few nights in the cosy welcome of Plum Tree House during the month of August '18. Both Sarah and Denis made us feel so welcome and at home. The house is warm and cosy, the food divine, and the general atmosphere one of peace and relaxation. The house is situated in a rural area an easy walk from the village of Mapua, surrounded by gorgeous countryside and them thar' hills as a backdrop. Our stay was conducive to unwinding and our bedroom provided a sunny, restful haven overlooking green fields ............ I'd highly recommend Plum Tree House and Mapua as a destination, and a place from which to explore the surrounding area. Beautiful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had an amazing stay in Plum Tree House. Denis and Sarah are wonderful and kind hosts. The B&B is well situated and has everything you need. Plum Tree House is an excellent spot from where you can discover Abel National Park and Nelson.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Spent 4 delightful days at Plum Tree House. Such a beautiful area to visit and hosts Sarah and Denis make you feel so welcome. Very comfortable beds, warm sunny house with fires in the evening. Great vineyards, plenty of restaurants, cafes to keep one amused and with a bike trail for those more adventurous.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The accomodation was delightful with an almost French country atmosphere. Crisp white sheets and luxurious bath robes.
My hosts were helpful and knowledgeable about walks, activities and dining opportunities and went out of their way to make me feel welcome. As a woman travelling by myself I was grateful for their local knowledge and assistance.
Great breakfasts with fresh eggs from their hens, homemade jam, bread, compote and muesli
