★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They try to scam you buy saying everytime you want to pay lump sum payments to finish your loan they charge you $40 for what they say quote "Administration Fee because we have to do alot of paperwork". 1 Star is generous here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very slow response to a good payment customer, my car is written off then my insurance send them an email to do settlement on 7/3/18 and no reply from MARAC WHY????????????? keep lying to customer not happy at all Now I really need a car maybe have to go with other finance company
Even now still no one contact me and my Insurance we have tried to ring them so many times What a joke!!!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just bought a car, and did the finance through Marac, we were never told what our debit order date would be and just asked to sign in order to get the car released from the dealers. Only later we noticed that they debit order date was unacceptable to us and I we would have known I we would have objected to it prior to signing the contract. So I contacted Marac to ask if they can move the debit order date to the one that is in line with my monthly salary.
The response I got is sorry change the date. We will be deducting the funds on the day and after then we will change it. And if you cant make this date we will hand you over to collections.
REALLY!!! this is how you going to treat me just because I asked to shift the date in line with my salary?
So if you can move the date after the first payment why cant you move the first one? This does not make sense what so ever. really not a good start Marac.
If this is what I can expect from you then I will voice my concern with every single person i come in contact with that wants to buy a car. To stay clear of Marac.

I emailed them a week ago and still no response - all I'm wanting is a quote to settle my repayments early. How difficult is that to respond to??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Financed boat. Engine wasn't great so I traded it and paid the difference. Higher value engine brand new out box. Tried letting them know but it's turned into one major issue just to get them to change details of the engine. Want to charge me 80 bucks to change details. At the end of the day, if they reposses the boat, they score as the engine is a 2020 model and higher valued than the one they financed with. I made sure insurance details was up to date for new engine but this has just become such a mission. Plus by the amount of time you wait on a the line for an answer, you swear they only have one person in call centre

Customer service is a major let down, I've never been able to get through via the 0800 after 30 mins gave up, never get the ball backs offered
Make it hard to check your balance or pay additional balance. Good luck if you want to settler early
