★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bus Stop 9845 is located in front of the Days Bay Pavilion, opposite Days Bay Wharf and also Stop 8845. As you can see the shelter is small and looking quite rustic. While it has a roof and 3 walls you will be exposed to winds from the shoreline. Buses 81 & 83 stop here on their way to the Eastbourne village.
Stop 9845's location in close proximity to both 8845 and the Ferry Terminal makes it a godsend for EB residents especially during bad weather. With a little forward planning you could synchronise your travel arrangements to make seamless journeys to and from Wellington city during peak hours, directly from EB itself. Now that is a huge bonus for local residents as the trips are shorter while avoiding traffic congestion and car-parking issues (there are no free car-parks in the city even in the weekends and fines are notoriously hefty!).
