How Its Started
Marine Parade Eatery is the creation of three local Kapiti Woman, all who have been working in the hospitality sector for the last 12 years. This combined love for the industry has seen the Eatery evolve into bustling the hub it is today.

The smoothies were warm and a bit bland too. One of the drinks that was ordered never arrived and when we went to pay there was no apology for this.
The cafe does have a nice interior and atmosphere, but I won't be back, unfortunately.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I ate here early in the morning twice this week and had something different each time. I am vegetarian and a picky, fussy eater. I ordered the Ayurveda Bowl and asked for it to be spicy. The chef gave me more pickle, which wasn't exactly spicy, but really tasty. I tried a piece of the vegan banana bread toasted with butter, yum! The chef came to my table both times to ask me how the food was, she was so friendly, as were the other staff. The location and the cafe itself are inviting. The only negative is that my friend ordered a coffee and it took a long time to be delivered but when she tasted it, she said it was amazing. Good spot!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Seemed like a nice place to stop for a quick bite and coffee, on my way to an appointment. Service at counter was friendly and helpful; I only wanted a small, quick lunch. The coffee came quickly, but then I waited 20 minutes...for a bagel! I had to go up and ask what was going on. The food is obviously made to order and was tasty. Maybe there's a staffing issue, but it would help to communicate timing to customers so we know what to expect.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came here a few years ago and the food was lovely - times have changed. I had the hash cooked breakfast today and it was overpriced, food all chopped into little bits with minimal thought to presentation, texture and over-salted.
One in our company ordered a scone which was rock solid and flat. Only the coffee was nice, with well designed coffee art. Recommend only for drinks!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a great lunch here, I can definitely recommend the pulled chicken burger and the hash. Coffee is great and the vibe is so relaxed too. The service is friendly and we'll definitely be coming back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s not often the chef comes out to check how your meal is but it was warmly welcomed as we wanted to say how much we enjoyed our meals! I’ve never had an Ayurveda bowl before but I’m so glad I decided to try something new. The meal was beautiful, service was great and the coffee was hot! Definitely recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Vanilla latte and tomato juice was good but food took a while to come out.
Andys hash had good flavor but the added bacon was $7 and came out burnt and of the 2 eggs only one was runny in the middle. Flat white was burnt and did not taste good at all.
All in all food was average.
