About Masterton Dental Practice | Lumino The Dentists
Shaun graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (UWL) from the University of Western Cape in 2012 and completed his P.Dip (UWL) in Maxillofacial Radiology in 2014.
His dental interests include endodontics, 3D printing, digital dentistry and planning.
One of Shaun's main dental goals is to share knowledge with like-minded colleagues and patients, because who doesn't like technology and gadgets?
He enjoys meeting people and showing patients that endodontics is not as painful as they think.
Outside of work, Shaun enjoys spending time with his wife – hiking and mountain biking because she pushes me to see places I would not dream of reaching (usually because it is so far).
His favourite place to be is in a car or a train, travelling and seeing new places. He's also a big tech enthusiast and has completed a few computer courses.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lumino Masterton are useless. One star is one too many. I booked an appointment months ago. Turned up on time today as per my card stated....to be told my appointment was cancelled. My phone number had not changed so why did lumino not call me? I had to travel 40km to attend appointment which lumino had cancelled without telling me. Not good enough. And all receptionist said was "sorry". ??? Shame on you Lumino.

My dentist was so lovely and reassuring about the whole process as she could see I was quite nervous, because I mean who likes the dentist. She made sure I knew what was going on every step of the way and made sure I was comfortable

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Over priced and not helpful. Spent 290 dollars getting a tooth removed. It took 25 minutes from start to finish then I was rushed out the door. Felt like a money making scam when a google search tells me 80 to 200 dollars is average for removal.
3 days later both teeth either side of one removed are very sore. Will have to go to doctor to help as this place is a ripoff and dont want to give them any more money.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been a number of times now over the years and they are by far the best dentists I have been to EVER. You cant beat luminos and that comes from someone who still remembers the dental clinics in the 50's with absolute fear lol. From the very nice and helpfull front desk staff and throughout the whole procedure I have no complaints at all. Great dentists, caring nurse's and PAIN FREE. The cost too is very reasonable for the service provide which is always very good. So a big ? to y'all.
