Batter mushrooms were ok and the onion rings we probably the down fall as they were just like the packet ones you but in supermarket with no taste to them at all.
Everything else was pretty good ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good fish and chips. Fish is a little on the smaller side but not by much. Both fish and chips beautifully cooked. Chips are really tasty, not oily. It's a 4.5 stars from me.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cambridge is closer for me but I'd drive the extra distance just for the quality of both their fish and chips. I've tried all the fish and chips shops in Cambridge and I can't recommend any of them. This one is exceptionally good and I've eaten from them a number of times. Tonights meal was excellent again and I felt they deserved a write up here for their consistency in quality.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If your either visiting friends and or whanau, or maybe just a change of scenery around Matangi, pop in to their local takeaway and order a quick snack of good ole "fish n chips" worth the money...awesome taste!
