★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a lovely place. Well appointed and comfortable. Plenty of room for a longer stay, although we only had one night, as a stop on the Around the Mountains cycle trail. The owners went out of their way to make it a great stay for us.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A beautiful house in lovely grounds, a wonderful place for a break on the Around the Mountains trail. We had the place to ourselves but it has three ensuite double rooms. Great DIY breakfast provided, and choice of a BBQ on the deck, or the Brown Trout a short walk down the road. Complete luxury.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely loved this place, it felt like home away from home! I even felt kind of sad when it was time to leave it and go home ?
The owners have put a lot of time, enjoy and of course money into this beautiful home/lodge to make you feel comfortable and enjoy your time in it.
We based ourselves here and drive into Queenstown everyday during our stay as it was only a hour during and well worth it.
We are definitely wanting to stay here again sometime in the future ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such a cool spot, and the house is so full of history. Jason was fantastic to deal with, can’t praise him highly enough as he helped me out at the last minute. You will not be disappointed staying at the lodge. Highly recommend and will definitely be back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had an absolutely wonderful stay, very very comfortable and beds were amazing! We had everything we needed and the spot was perfect. We were married in Athol 18 years earlier and loved we could stay at the Lodge to celebrate. Would definitely stay again. Jason was very helpful and friendly.
