The lady on the counter did say that they had been extremely busy over Easter which is great news.
Our breakfast was great and service was fantastic.
Pity that the current management are looking to sell but understandable given the current situation.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Service and ambience were great. My poached eggs on home baked toast and lettuce pesto was delicious as was was my partners muesli with rhubarb. Although we found the coffee a little weak for our taste.the view of Fox Glacier while we ate was incredible.

Had a light breakfast after a trip arround the lake and it was wonderful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a place and delicious food! Take a hike to Lake Matheson before or after eating here. The views are breathtaking, try to go on a spring day with no wind to see the perfect reflection of Mt. Cook.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely cafe and managed by a very lovely owner. Absolutely stunning location and view of mounts Tasman and Cook, just a spectacular spot to have a cup of coffee and some breakfast. I had a full breakfast with an Americano, both were good. The owner was lovely and took the time to have a little chat and share a bit about how the local community bands together to help each other out. Well worth a drive to for a drink/meal to check out the view and walk to Lake Matheson.
