★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Every time I go to Dunedin I get sum meals from these lovely lovely friendly people. They all (staff) treat the customer really well. Usually I get Nasi Goreng no msg please (please pardon the spelling, as I don't speak Asian very well, or spell...).
I recently purchased my meal, at $11 & I'm fully satisfied, and noted the new B rating, however I'm told this is for paper work or similar. Whatever!?? The food is great, and the price is great, always appears clean... I know of local customers that travel reasonable distances to get their f&c or Chinese etc, and I can say I travel, when in Dunedin via St Kilda beach area, or even via Pine Hill!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What an amazing place! We had a lot of fish and chips in all new zealand and that place was one of the best!!
The chips was really yummy as the fish squid rings and vege rolls! Portions was big and price was cheap!!
And the family who own the place is super friendly !! We'll definitly come back!!

Mayflower is my local and the family that run it are amazingly friendly. Always greet you with a smile and, long story short, go out of their way to help. Oh and and another plus the food is always top notch. Just thinking about it had made me hungry for some ?

This was the 3rd time my partner and I ordered chicken wings from Mayflower. First two times, the wings were big, perfectly cooked, and delicious; this time they were tiny, over cooked, and so salty they were barely edible. The chips were garbage as well; half were under cooked, half were over cooked, and 90% were the tiny "leftover" bits. Honestly the worst chips from any fish and chips shop we've been to.
We will not be returning to Mayflower, why risk repeating this experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Would not purchase again.With a friend I like to try lunch time special's at different places. For $5 dollars the portions are way too small and nothing to write home about.They do not tell you the hidden costs which make an average of $11 person. Best to try others.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I wanted to get Chinese from somewhere a little different from the usuals and I am so glad I did. The food was fresh and flavoursome. The staff were very friendly and I was shocked by how affordable it was. Will definitely go here again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Still the Best fish and chips in Dunedin, but don't forget to ask for chicken salt and if you like crunch chips put a air hole in the bag so chips can breath. fish is excellent, goes between good and amazing. onion sossy's are Excellent. hot dogs are not bad.
