Not much in the cabinets. Nothing for gluten free or dairy free people which is what I was wanting. Settled in an afghan bukkie which was nice. Staff member that served us wasn't friendly or welcoming. She was leaning on counter like she wished she wasn't there.

I appreciate getting our water bottles refilled. However the 2 young employees were clearly exhausted and didn't want to be there. Some flavors of ice cream were getting low and I was refused these choices. My suggestion of using up the remaining tub by combining with another flavor was refused because it would be too much work. Why were tubs of ice cream on display if they weren't available for sale? It's also unprofessional for the staff to be negotiating leave and discussing staffing levels (with the use colorful language) in front of customers.

OVERPRICED! 3 Tiny dried up cheese rolls, 2 buns and 2 powerade drinks cost $35..admittingly a 10%surcharge for public holiday. But that is still a ridiculous price. Buns were flavorless...but fresh..so minor win.

Probably one of the best chicken rolls I have had, has been from here. Staff can vary in friendliness, but overall, it's a good tearooms to visit.

If the women behind the counter wasn't so sour qnd unhelpful, it would be great. The food is nice. I went back a second time just thinking maybe she had a bad day, but nah same attitude.

Stopped in as we usually would day before easter 2022 got a mutton pie at 8am it was dry and tasted like fat didn't eat it cheese roll was dry like it been there from the day before, stopped in again at 9.15am after easter on Tuesday got 2 cheese rolls and was hardly no filling and dry as. Watched a staff member move food in the warmer with her hands. And staff making food with no gloves out the back. Disgusting at any time no health and safety especially under covid

Pies were nice, coffee was good, friendly team. Had an issue with eftpos but trusting enough to let us pay later on into their account. Worth while stopping in, they also had a nice selection of filled rolls & cakes.

A genuine bakery and tea rooms, absolute gold. Lots of great looking pies, filled rolls and cakes and they do a great cup of tea - didn’t try their coffee but I’m sure it’s equally fine. Friendly staff and great value. If I could give this a sixth star I would - open until 5.45pm which was great as we needed a late stop on our road trip to Dunedin. No putting up the closed sign at 2.30pm which is my pet annoyance. Highly recommend.
