★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had to buy a pump urgently due to failure and was advised to spend $50 on an insurance report and claim after the purchase...The report was just the invoice with limited information. Almost a year later after me having to chase up the insurer and mcquinn on multiple occasions i still do not know what the problem was or why i paid extra for an insurance report...no solution was offered and communication was minimal and short...i won't be using them again! ...and then a nonchalant online isolated response after i contacted them directly, asked for a solution, explained why i was angry...all you had to do was call me and say sorry, we messed up, we should have known your insurance terms before we oversold you, we should have communicated with you more but no...uh sorry we contacted the insurer and overcharged you and wont contact you properly or offer a solution...f..k you mc quinn pumps and hope this rating goes viral?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 2 experiences deserves two reviews. Needed just a part for a brand of item they sell. They contacted the supplier, arranged to send to them, gave me their part. Also showed me options for generic parts writing down the parts I may need, all with the option to return if I didn't need after all. I had complete faith I could walk in there with a rough idea what I need and they would stand there patiently and give me all that I needed. Thanks very much, great bunch of professionals.

You can use their services with full confidence and can rest assured that they will do the job and will do it right till you absolutely happy with it. They replaced a controller on my domestic water pump and made sure I was completely happy with it even if that included extra call outs and an upgrade to the controller with no extra costs to me. I will defiantly use their services again.

I went to make a coffee this morning and when I turned on the tap we had no water at all. I went and checked the pump outside and it was off. Went and checked the switchboard inside and noticed the RCD had popped. I turned it back on and immediately it flipped off again hahaha. I began worrying and rang a local electrician to help and he recommended going back to McQuinn Pumps as they are the service agent for the model of pump.
Michael and the wonderful lady helped immediately and gave me a new pump to take away and use whilst we investigated the fault with our pump which was above and beyond the standard of care I expected. Thanks laot McQuinn team you rock and have impeccable customer service skills!!!!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hopeless. $1000 later and alot of back and forth our pump was not fixed. More issues kept cropping up every time we went to install our pump. We had a gasket missing after they had it 'fixed'. When we first took it in they did not identify that we would also needed a new head as the bolt had worn so badly which would have cost an additional $800. Had we know this we would have just bought a new one instead of try and refurbish an old one. We must have gone back and forth about 4 times. Finally we gave up and sought advice elsewhere which we should have done in the first place.
