★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Johny the self-claimed experienced European mechanic managed that it took 10 months to repair a crankshaft. It was simply a nightmare. After eight months Johny took my car to BMW to have it repaired as he was unable to do so. On top of, he charged 5000 NZD above the quote. For example, the timing setting was out by 60º.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My vehicle was in whangarei automotive for 7 months! Originally taken in to get drive sharft repaired however was told vehicle had several other problems. So paid to have all work done.
I was told multiple times because of covid there was a delay for arrival of parts. I had no vehicle for "7 months" and their communication between was terrible! I became inpatient and called to say i was going to pick up and get money back and all of a sudden parts had arrived. So i prolonged and gave another week then finally got the call "ur vehicle is ready" excitedly i go and pick up. To find MORE PROBLEMS then when i dropped it off. My passengers door now does not open, my bonnet cable is completely snapped and there is noises worse then when it first went into the shop!!! So what have they actually done???? Not to mention, when i get down there they tell me that they got parts for my vehicle from the BMW shop here in whangarei (they could have ordered that in th beginning, insted they had me wait 7 months)
Reception told me they also had parts i needed at their store. My truck is terrible!!!! Its worse now then when i put it in. Only difference is it can drive due to drivesharft.????
