β β β β β Disgusting making a 3 year old with an earache wait for over 3 hours and being told that they were prioritizing 3 large groups of seasonal workers ahead of everyone for swabs.
Disgusted in the response of the receptionist when I said I will never come back to this Medical Center. Which was
"That's fine".

β β β β β Best experience with a medical practice I've ever had. The receptionist was lovely and the two nurses I spoke with (Tonya and Sandie) were super friendly and funny. Receiving a tetanus shot was actually enjoyable ? also really reasonable consult charge, especially for after hours. Short wait time even though my injury was relatively minor. Highly recommend - it's a shame they're not a GP clinic because if they were I would be registering. Thanks team!

β β β β β So I went there today for a prescription after giving the lady my details 4 times over the intercom they gave up and came out took my name and went inside
10 mins later sumone called my phone Kate her name was Kate asked me what I wanted I said a prescription she said have to see doctor I said why can u not just give me a script no I can't she replied
She then says it be an hour wait so I said cool call me and I cone back she said no if I leave I lose my place in the que
After 55 mins of waiting in a hot car the doctor called me and said there is a script sent to the pharmacy for you to pick up I said thank u.
Kate I went home and didn't lose my place In The que also I didn't see the doctor
Yr threat of refusing me service was a bad attempt

β β β β β -β (0 stars) My experience was THE WORST!! To go to the hospital is supposed to make you feel better, I felt the saddest ever when I got told to please leave the building before explaining completely what I feel. (The nurse just said "They will phone me"...I waited a hour before they phoned. That was after I already waited almost a hour before the nurse called me to SEE her!! ) we drove from Mapau to get "urgent" help. With kids in the car we couldn't wait a hour and not knowing how much longer we had to wait, so we left. The dr phoned but was so so unfriendly!!!! You choose to work with people so have PEOPLE SKILLS!!! NOT JUST COVID CAUSES A FEVER!?!?!

β β β β β 18/3/22 Disappointed to receive an email about their GP service getting closed down by the board. They were the best GP practice & close proximity to where I am based. All enrolled patients need to find a new medical centre & GP now.

β β β β β This is specifically regarding Dr. Sarah Svoboda and I would appreciate it if you would pass it on to her. Sarah was one of the most unprofessional doctors Iβve seen out of 10+ different ones this year. When explaining the severity of my medical situation and desperate need for surgery she AUDIBLY SCOFFED AND LAUGHED at me, telling me it was not happening. After a 6+ hour wait she prescribed me more antibiotics despite me explaining I had been on them for 6 MONTHS already and they were NOT helping, plus I had developed bad side effects from this which she was fully aware of. She then took a swab very painfully WHICH WAS THROWN OUT/βLOSTβ with no explanation, as when I showed up to the ED two days later with the same problem I was told there was never any swabs entered into the system and that I had to have another one and wait longer to see the results which should have already been there. I am writing this exactly one week after seeing her, having had the EMERGENCY SURGERY I DID IN FACT NEED. Glad she thought it was funny. I will also be writing a formal complaint about her if I can figure out how. A heartless and neglectful experience to say the absolute least.

β β β β β Very long wait time, and no indication that you are even noticed as waiting. I was rang up before coming in and I was told to wait outside and call reception for a covid test. I waited outside calling for over an hour before I got an answer. Dozens of other people entering and exiting before me. When my call got through I had to explain 3 times to 3 different (maybe not different?) people can I did not have access to a car and couldn't go elsewhere. They were condescending about this each time. Seriously needs more transparency and staffing, also needs a system that works and common courtesy.

β β β β β Wow. Such impressive service. I was apprehensive about visiting at first because despite being in pain (blisters under toenails) I wasn't sure if it was severe enough to be admitted and we are from Christchurch. We were welcomed by a friendly receptionist. I was amazed to see only a couple of other people waiting on a Thursday night close to New Year's. This would almost never happen at most after hours. I was also amazed to find a cat (wow, this is incredible for people who are in pain or who are struggling). After being debriefed, I saw a friendly/competent and reassuring nurse. Who then got a doctor to check me as well due to the severity of my blisters. I'm grateful that I got help immediately. If I hadn't received urgent medical care I would likely need more than medication as cellulitis can lead to serious medical complications if not treated early. Thank you
