Cynric is a Pathologist who works across the lower North Island with a wide variety of health professionals including General Practitioners, Specialists, Practice Nurses, Midwives, Cervical Smear-takers as well as with the Police in Coronial work. Together with the team of Pathologists he is involved in providing all Pathology Services to the Manawatu, Horowhenua, Otaki, Tararua, Wairarapa, Wanganui and Tairawhiti districts as well as Hawke's Bay. This service provides professional pathology care to a total population of 250,000. His professional special interest is in health economics, rural health and health education.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrible phlebotomist. Went through my vein, I told her it hurt. The bandage she put on is soaked through with blood. Surprised she got any in the vial. I had to release the tournique myself. She needs a bit of re-training. Won't be going back to this medilab again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I find this a good lab where the hours are open for longer than the hospital. Also I don't have to pay for parking and there is usually plenty of parking. Even when there are many people waiting for tests the staff are friendly and I don't seem to have to wait long. I visit for blood tests monthly or more frequently and have been doing so for the past five years.i have found the service good, efficient and consistent.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very rude receptionist. Had to print out my lab request. He was literally just staring at the screen so I asked if he can refreshify the screen. He said it takes 5-6 mins as if I asked for something I shouldn’t. And the lady who took my blood test was also rude. Why do I have to be asked where I’m from when I’m there to take my blood out? Be a sensible human being please???
