★ ★ ★ ★ ★ At the start of our new build I felt a bit nervous about all the choices we were going to have to make and although I know what I like and dislike, I struggled to visualise how everything would look together in the end. I met with Mel early in the process and am so glad I did! She brought so many ideas to the table and was very good at picking up on my personal style and running with it, opening up many more ideas, some of which ended up being an integral part of our final design - these included a unique window we hadn't even thought of...(that we love), exterior cladding configuration, paint colours that really work, as well as selecting interior finishings. She was easy to deal with and happy to meet at showrooms, handle quotes and orders on our behalf which really helped in a busy time. I'd highly recommend Melanie Jayne Design to anyone looking to build or renovate.

Mel is patient, has great communication skills and even managed to sooth tensions between my partner and I. Highly recommend her services. Well worth it to get an expert in rather than try and do it yourself.
