★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I saw a listing on trade me and approached them via email as I live in Christchurch. I was constantly approached by the general manager about the car I first enquired about. I was quite happy with the way they dealt with my query and after few negotiations we came on to a deal. I was sent the paperwork and my finance was approved. I was told that its a done deal and we can meet anytime next week so as to do the paperwork and I can pick up the car. I spent the whole day filling up the finance details, arranging for funds and also discussing about the features etc. I bought a 30k car without even looking or test driving the car because I trusted the Mercedes Benz dealership. However the next morning, I got a text from General Manager that the car has been sold already by one of the sales reps and he didn't know about it. I wonder how is that possible as we spent whole day filling up the finance paperwork, details about the car and the pick up date etc. This was not at all professional, when it comes to buying a car from Mercedes dealership. I am highly disappointed with the way this went through.
