β β β β β Thought we'd try as everyone seems to have about how good they are.
BUT they were the worst fish n chips weve ever had! Chips were underdone, our burgers weren't ready when at pickup time (time was given to us) so our fish and chips sat for 10 minutes while burgers were being made. So our undercooked fish and chips were also cold and soggy! I've called them to give feedback and they were very accommodating and admitted their fryers weren't working well and have offered to redo or order another time when were ready.

service was awesome followed by the best fish and chips I had locally for a.long time.
I. put it down to everything didn't taste frozen it was fresh
The fried bread was awesome too..

β β β β β One of, if not the best, fish and chip shops in Upper Hutt. It's positive reputation preceded it, so I thought I would check it out. I was not disappointed. Large serves of tasty, well cooked and presented food at very cheap prices. The owners were very friendly and the shop itself was clean, spacious and tidy. Worth the extra travel for me, I will be back.
