β β β β β This place came highly recommended, but my wife and I were very disappointed.
We opted for the $32.00 pack, which consisted of; Chicken Fried Rice, Sweet and Sour Pork, 2 battered fish, 1 hotdog, and $2.00 chips.
The quantities were quite generous, but the quality left a lot to be desired!
The sweet & sour pork was a mixture of soft and tough, which makes me think that it was a mixture of old and fresh. The rice was clumpy, the fish,(Wharehou) was VERY tough, and did not taste nice at all, and the chips were soft and soggy.
Needless to say, we will not be going back!

β β β β β We probably come here more than we should but it's for good reason. Their portions are huge, always full to the brim, the good is quality and their customer service is always so friendly and quick. You'll notice they always give you lots of free food too, they're amazing!

β β β β β I've been to alot of fast food chinese restaurants. I'd rate this one as one of the best in Wellington. Their fish n chips, combination fried rice and and combination chow mein are quite popular. Lastly, the taste is great, their serving size is pretty big compared to other restaurants and it's cheaper compared to other restaurants.

β β β β β YOU have to check these guys out, Jet and his wife are AWESOME! They always throw in extra food, and if you have been waiting longer than usual they throw in a drink, or sauce - just a thank you gesture. This is 1 place that I don't mind waiting, their a team of 2 and they work so hard. My fav is the sweet n sour pork and lemon chicken, it's ONLY that you get, it's not topped up on a bed of rice like most other places. Menu hasn't changed much, and the hit to the pocket still super cheap, we drop in from time to time, say hi and grab a quick bite.

β β β β β People of Naenae must have bad taste cos this fish and chip store was far below what everyone gives it credit for. Sweet and sour was stale. Fried rice was not on. Hygiene when watching them cook was unbelievable I should've turned around and walked out but I always give local businesses benefit of the doubt. Should've followed my instincts. 2 stars is being generous
