If i could of given no stars thats what it would of been. After spending an hr on the phn got cut off had to call back and spend another half an hr then couldn't cancel a subscription or give me any kind of update on when the xbox series x will be available and the first person i spoke too spoke about as good english as an Indian call centre

I have called the number for New Zealand and I have a call center first in Columbia ? because I can not understand a word being spoken I end the call after the operator refuses to get me a supervisor , I call back and I get a call center in India after spelling my email operator 17 times giving my phone number 5 times I'm now so frustrated that I have to end the call again. is this part of the tactics used by Microsoft ? to make you state your case to four operators to then be passed on to people that can hardly speak a word of English and proceed to tell me I'm not spelling my email correctly yea that makes sense I'm going to call and give my details incorrectly because I enjoy spelling it out for 26 mins ! I enjoy getting frustrated ! NOT! if I ring a New Zealand Number I expect to speak to a person from my country not a call center in some country that has no command of my langue . if I lived in there country and was calling id do so with a translator or id learn the language ,fact is I've called a number for my country New Zealand it is not fair that I have to go through this because Microsoft is cutting corners on there service in the name of profit like really are you that short of money MS? communication is a vital thing it is not fair on callers it is not fair on the operators who are most likely not eve3n being paid a minimum wage I have had money removed from my account for a service I had cancelled in early December 2020 no in march 2021 it bills me for that service and in order to sort it out I have to go through this nightmare ! it is not the operators fault this lands with you Microsoft ! unprofessional lazy and cheap. there are people here in my country who need jobs so do the right thing and restore call centers to local regions it makes for a more pleasant experience it gets things solved faster and gives you a good reputation . I don't even like dealing with the Americans they get stroppy rude they talk over you and repeat there scripts like robots refusing to engage with you on a human level. the service provided is far from lacking it is a nightmare ! being told I cant spell my own email I don't know how to repeat my own number is just ridiculous it implies that when I call Microsoft Im suddenly unable to preform everyday tasks that I have no trouble with in any other area of my life ! saying its not me its you is Bull S,,,T in any circumstance I am so sick and tired of corporations blame shifting cutting corners for profit and treating people customers as though we are the problem. I'm only righting this because I need to vent I know it wont go anywhere Microsoft don't give a Frack ! about my frustrations the fact they just took the last of my food money with out authorization means nothing to them! so I guess its let them win and keep my food money or call again in the hopes that I get a person who has a fluent command of English . Thank you so much Microsoft just how i wanted to start my Monday hungry and frustrated thanks heaps I hope the staff upstairs are happy with there bonus money you know the money you saved by using call centers in country's that have little to no workers rights no minimum wage. well done thank for heaps of FA! all in the name of Greed !

What a horrible company. Made a purchase for a film I wanted to watch and only found out after that it can be only exclusively played on windows machines. How about getting with the current times. I then requested a refund as it wouldn't work and they declined my request. Horrible business. I'll stick with Apple

I have problems with Microsoft Surface support team. I bought Surface Pro 7 i7++ earlier this year in NZ Auckland store and few weeks after that I found out that there was a manufacturer defect with a blue vertical line on the screen. I contacted the support and realized support was overseas and when they agreed to look into it, they want me to send in my device which I found out it will go to Australia. 2 weeks after I sent in my device, I tried to call the number for 2 days to follow up and nobody picked up the call. Long story short....what a hassle for a premium equipment from well known company.

I've never experienced a company so actively avoid customer service. Webpages for service are useless. No phone number on the website for NZ service. Had to come to google search review page to find phone number. Call last night at 5:30pm, closed. Call centre closed. Is it 1989? Call exactly at 9AM to get through quickly. 11AM still on hold.

I have tried online, 0800 , Google search emailing and nothing. This is the worse customer service and no helpful direction what so ever. Do not spend your money here.

Utterly terrible experience. I bought a $4000 surface setup in December 2021, after 3 weeks of use the device failed terminally and would not turn on. Took until first week of March 2022 for a "refurbished" replacement to come, that straight out of the box has not worked. Spent tens of hours trying to get in contact with support, finally spoke with them, refusing to accept the device is faulty but want to replace with yet another "refurbished" unit. Not acceptable at all.
