About Minibus Express
Minibus Express has been transporting Hamiltonians to and from the Auckland Airport since January 2004. Owners, Neil and Kathy Shaw have developed the business to where it now has a good reputation as reliable, friendly and affordable. To compliment the service to and from Auckland Airport. Neil and Kathy, also run a local service for Waikato residents to and from Hamilton Airport.
Neil has a background in account management and operational logistics, having worked in the hospitality industry and serving 20 years as a member of the NZ Police. Kathy has a background in the health sector as a registered nurse and more recently an educator and advisor. Both are originally from the Waikato and understand the need for a friendly and reliable service to Auckland Airport.
Staff
The 18+ staff at Minibus are dedicated to providing a high quality service to you, our customers. Our personally & carefully selected drivers distinguish themselves through their standards of presentation, quality of service and knowledge. The entire Minibus team enjoy their work and can be relied upon to service you with care and attention.
Fleet
All our vehicles are maintained regularly and updated regularly. Our fleet includes a modern Hiace Commuter Minibus, new Ford Transit Minibuses, and two new model Hyundai I-Max vans all of which boast our stylish image. Specifically chosen to suit New Zealand roads, we have taken responsibility in assuring passenger awareness with our fleet, offering on-road comfort, security, and most importantly safety.
All our minibus vehicles have been tested to meet strict standards specified in the current passenger vehicle requirements.
All our vehicles provide safety and comfort. The Hiace Commuter and Ford Transits provide generous legroom and headroom, and all have room to meet most luggage requirements.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I rang got a quote in the morning and to see if there a shuttle at the desired time was $85 as per website ... called to confirm booking a couple of hours later and told it was now $95. Said it had to be booked 24 hours in advance ( which i couldn't see on the website) let them know the flight was actually about 36 hours they told me that it was still $95 ! I then asked to talk with the manager. I was told the manager didn't want to talk with me ! ... go figure will not be using these guys again extremely rude and unprofessional

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been a loyal user of minibus express for over ten years. The drivers remain polite and cheerful as ever but the front desk is being run by a terribly unprofessional woman. Completely ruined my user experience and turned us off this service. Provides incorrect information and is rude to customers. Cuts people off at the middle of the phone call and leaves our booking situation in the air. I sincerely doubt this persons ability to manage the bookings. I have never written a negative review in my life, but I will be taking this to their management. Absolutely horrendous experience.
