★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We loved the atmosphere and food here, but while the staff were friendly we found our experience was not great. We ordered cabinet food that never arrived, even after we asked for it again (because everyone else had finished their main). And the table next to us were a family asking for hot water to heat their baby's milk bottle. The waiter said no twice, then some one else came out and asked why they needed it, and then asked them to use the microwave? It was really weird to watch them go out of their way to be unhelpful- they just wanted a cup of hot water.
We did ask for our money back which they gave us and we were happy with that. But we all left feeling like something was just a bit off. Which is unfortunate because it's really nice and the food is great.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great coffee! They use Supreme Coffee which is such a great roastery so you can't go wrong. The sausage roll was also so delicious and so was the cinnamon roll. We're planning to go back through Twizel at the end of our NZ trip so will be back for some proper food!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely delicious food !!! We had cabinet food and coffees and everything was 10/10 !!! Very friendly staff ! We were greeted with a smile as we walked though by two staff members :) very nice and laid back cafe atmosphere with lots of greenery ? Complements to the chef on very creative flavors variety of baked goods - both sweet and savory.
We found our new favorite “go to place” in Twizel ! We will be back ?

Glad we made the detour to have lunch here! Hosts very welcoming and friendly. Super comfortable outdoor and indoor areas.
Despite the crowds, food came within 5 minutes. Bit of a hidden gem ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Highly recommended! Firstly, Mint Folk is such a gorgeous cafe to feast your eyes on with beautiful decor and lots of plants. ?
The food is so yummy and they have vegan and vegetarian options which is awesome. The coffee is stellar and the staff are friendly and fun.
There's lots of indoor and outdoor seating, and if you bring your dog (outside, on a leash of course), they bring water for them, which is a lovely gesture.
A must do in Twizel!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I loved being at Mint Folk & Co so much I wanted to stay in Twizel a few days longer instead of going to Queenstown as already booked and planned. I missed out experiencing a dinner here as I had to leave Twizel on a Wednesday but I made up for it with a Pina Colada fuelled lunch. Extremely happy customer!

Ordered the avocado smashed and sticky chili fried chicken for my breakfast. Love it. Best breakfast i have ever had. Coffee also well made. Might drive all the way to Twizel just for the breaky.
The staff member also very friendly and welcoming. Great cafe atmosphere.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had dinner here . Really great atmosphere . Need to book very busy indeed and have vaccine pass ready. Good outside area for dining . Have kids menu and it is family friendly. Food is great along with good cocktails and some craft beers. Staff are very helpful and always checking in how things are.
