★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Actually fixed my boots and didn't charge me a penny. Just said come back next time or tell a friend... bloody nice guys. The 2nd time I used them to cut a new car key which was going to be over $300 from Ross gault for 1. These guys did me 2 for $200. Thanks again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great service. However, when I asked for engraving I expected actual engraving, not a screen printing on the piece. It wasn’t explained to me that it wouldn’t be proper engraving, which meant the whole piece was kinda ruined by the time I got it back. I would’ve expected to be informed that it wouldn’t be actual engraving when I ask for something to be engraved.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I needed a 2nd key cut urgently for a Santa Fe proximity keyless remote and key. The service was brilliant, all done within 24 hours including couriering the genuine Hyundai part in and worked out over $100 cheaper than going through the dealer (or Ross Galt). Out of all the Mr Minit key cutting stores in Christchurch, the Palms evidently have the most advanced equipment for programming remotes for high spec vehicles. The physical key was also cut perfectly. The guys are very friendly and helpful and communication was brilliant. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. Thanks heaps!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A bit expensive, asked for price to have 2 batteries replaced in my keyless entry card, was quoted $30.00 the cost of the batteries alone was $20.00, so a 2minute job, (it was not a hard job to change the batteries I figured this out later) just pull out the slot that had the batteries in and change them, the guy wanted $10.00, luckily I couldn't afford it at the time. Ended up doing it myself.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great service and refreshing there are still businesses providing excellence in customer service. Had rubber soles added to my business shoes by Mr Minute last year and they lifted this week. Took back to Mr Minute the Palms and they completely replaced both rubber soles and did not charge me. I was only expecting the soles to be re-glued so they went the extra distance to make me happy. Well done.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Got a car key cut and later found out that it was almost double the price of other providers. I provided the car key and only needed it cut, this cost me $69.90. I understand the convenience of being in the mall and their overheads accosiated with that but that does not warrant twice the price of other providers that are paying rent for retail shop locations etc. Will not be going back! Feel ripped off!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ To get shoes resolved isn't cheap($80-$100) but it well worth it if the workmanship is great. I was really happy with the job done on my leather soles. Extra comfy results compared to other companies l've tried. Unfortunately they became slightly unglued BUT Mr Hulk and his team reglued them again with no hassles, even in the middle of The Palms being evaluated! Highly recommended these talented people.
