First phone call I spoke to a lady who said that she has a phone issue where she can't hear what people are saying on the phone so hangs up on people instead of fixing the issue. Next phone call another lady had no idea what i was talking about but her colleague then said the answer straight away which was great but then hung up while I was saying thank you? So maybe customer service over the phone needs to improve. The store itself is fine though

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One star based on my click and collect experience this morning. Arrived at 7:58am and pick up opened at 8am. I saw no signs in the main carpark area as to where to pick up, and no instructions were in the email. I could see a line of 2 people at the front door in the photo. When I was closer I could see this sign as per the photo said 'collection point', and 'one click and collect customer at a time'. Upon lining up for 10 minutes, a second line was then forming with vehicles via the trade entrance, this line reached the road. At this point, those of us in the line were told to join the car line (of 50ish cars), and advised to view signage that was only being put out after we arrived. The person who told us to join the line was a bit rude, which seemed uncalled for. Clearly this was a line for some to click and collect, but not us for some reason? The employee was dismissive of our frustration. It feels rather disrespectful of our time, as it seems to be a simple fix, ie having someone direct vehicles to avoid confusion, adding signage right at the entrance, putting this information in the email or online.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had the worst experience with the power garden tools! The staff member shouted at me when I was trying out a tool for no apparent reason. And the only reason I gave one star cos the checkout person and a staff member on the shelving dept was very helpful. Checkout operator acknowledge that staff member was very rude and had many complaints already yet I don’t understand why would they keep him there?? Asked me to do a feedback online. Emailed several times to the branch manager and higher ups but still no response 3months later after 3 follow ups. Very disappointed at how mitre10 do not care about customer service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Second time shopping here doing click and collect and I was astonished how there is still no staff or security looking after the click and collect station. Waited for a couple of minutes and decided to just grab my order and drive off. A staff saw me when I grab my last order but didn't bother asking if it's my order or if someone is assisting me. Few hours after I left, I got a call from the customer service asking if I took my order I said yes cause no one is there to assist me. Got told off to wait for a staff to assist me before grabbing my order. I told her I waited for a couple of minutes already and no one is bothered to help me. People do click and collect to save time shopping but waiting for a staff to assist you is not saving time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you need anything kitchens and bathrooms go and see May at Mite10 Mt Wellington. She helped me with all my strange requests, got all the catalogues out, called suppliers and arranged special orders. She truly went above and beyond-even came to see me personally when I collected my order. She's a great asset to the team who are all lovely. Thanks so much May!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ New garden furniture centre very impressive. Lots of choice. But so big. Staff helpful, but overwhelmed by choice. Some staff really helpful, others frankly a bit out of their depth. Garden centre decent, and good value for Billy basic stuff.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is always a popular place for local to shop especially Saturday and Sunday. The place is always well stocked. The staff are helpful and knowledgeable. The place is big. I always need to find a staff to help me to locate the item. I do miss the Columbus cafe inside the shop. I used to be able to take my family to go there for brunch. However, due to store renovation, there can only serve coffees.
