★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Drove 40km to make a purchase. Got my item and no price tag on it. Checkout operator looked at me like “not sure what you want me to do about it”. Rang a dept a couple of times. No help arrived. Not busy, no queues, workers chatting. Left item on checkout and told them I couldn’t be bothered. Went elsewhere. Not sure what happened here when it’s busy but don’t try when you’re not. Need to step it up team. Wasted time and not going back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I want to buy 18 paving stones online and have them delivered ....and then starts the craziness. I have to order them by phone as the website says not online so I ring into Mitre 10. I have to get put through to Gardening to get the SKU number as front desk can't access any products, they give me the number and I am put back to front desk. Give my details and then am told I can't pay by credit card as they aren't allowed to take these details (fair enough) but I can pay internet banking. Great making good progress ....will someone be home for the delivery? When approximately would this be? I then get told that it takes 3 days for the payment to clear ...... are we living in 2022 or 1990 ..... and delivery will be after that. So Tuesday today, $ won't clear til Friday so that means next Monday? I live in NP, 15 minutes away from the store. At this stage I say forget it, this is absolutely ridiculous....saying also that I realise that it's not the guy's fault but the poor system. Two stars because the people were really friendly and helpful but zero stars for the ridiculous process ....oh and why I can't order paving stones online is because they only quote couriers (paving stones are gardening not building). We have spent thousands at Mitre 10 but this has really put me off.

Checkout wait times were a little disappointing - was around a 10 minute wait for a small item.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ when i went to this New Plymouth store there was no staff to be found and the staff i did come across ignored me and where to busy gossiping about something more intersting than helping a customer then was ignored the whole experince in this place has changed for the worse over the years IM ONLY GIVING YOU ONE STAR CAUSE GOOGLE DONT GIVE NO STARS
