★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I visit here often and always spend time taking in the view. A bit of history: these buildings were used primarily as a radar station in conjunction with Wright's Hill Fortress in Karori during WW2. As a part of the defence system, it was placed such that it could take in cook straight giving range to Wright's Hill whereby shots could be fired from it's high powered guns.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing view of the planes flying in and taking off as it overlooks the harbour. Can see multiple beaches and into the valley as well as out to sea. Gorgeous.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It should be the best place to watch the Wellington airport. I wish Auckland could have such a good place. But it's a pity that Wellington doesn't have any wide-bodied aircrafts. Anyway the place is awesome. Visit here plz if you like aircrafts.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ No matter the season, this place is amazing on a good day! Too bad there's always broken glass, but it's an easy walk no matter which side you walk from, so quite suitable for all ages and fitness levels.
