★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went in just before 11pm on january 14.Thursday night to get a drink, smokes and a twinkie and was nothing but polite to the older female serving me. She was totally rude. Would not talk back to me at all and ignored the questions i asked. She was being judgemental even though i treat her with politeness. Obviously she should b working with th public. Shame on you...... .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ On Sunday 12th September, approx. 8:45pm I went inside Mobil Riccarton to pay for some fuel. I mentioned to the woman serving me that I had just moved down to Christchurch on Friday to live. She immediately pulled out her spray bottle of disinfectant and pointed it directly at me saying “go back to Wellington you’ve got COVID-19” in a very aggressive tone “we don’t want you here”. I initially thought she was joking, but then realised she was completely serious… She got even more aggressive in her dialog, which actually became quite frightening and I was totally embarrassed considering there was another customer behind me. I ask if I could pay, and be on my way. She put the transaction through and continued saying, and yelling “go back to Wellington, get out of here” as I turn and walked toward the door. This is by far the worst experience I have had at a petrol station, and certainly a terrible introduction to Christchurch and what the people are like here (however I am sure this is a one off). I will not be using or recommending this station in future and will be passing my feedback on to Mobil corporate.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wow Mobil Riccarton 95 petrol is 71 cents more expensive than NPD...i dont know why people would go to you for petrol,when the smaller competitors can sell petrol cheaper that means its all about profit..no hurry to drop prices..very quick to raise

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A good enough fuel stop. Comes with a cafe and a mini supermarket (Mobil Mart, as they call it). Just located by the main road. Spacious enough. Has a capacity to serve 8 vehicles at once. Customer service was good enough on my visit today (05/May/2022). Gas cylinders available.
