About Modern Kitchens
Modern Kitchens’ in-house installation team are involved in every build from the outset of the project.
We’ll take into account your home’s plumbing, electricity and framing to avoid the need to ‘shoehorn’ a design into place. We’ll also measure your home’s interior dimensions to make sure everything fits through the door.
Once your kitchen or cabinetry is manufactured, we’ll pre-assemble it as much as possible in our warehouse before it’s transported to your home.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Disappointed and dissatisfied in the managing directors response to a simple email.
In brief, I emailed asking for a rough price guide in replacing our kitchen wall and base cabinets - I thought this would be common practice when completing home renovations.
The reply was:
“Thank you for getting in touch. We will not be submitting a price for this.
Regards,”
I phoned to see exactly what this email meant and why he couldn’t give me a rough estimate/guide to which his reply was “If you’re after the cheapest price, we don’t do that.”
Assuming I was attempting to find the lowest dollar amount for the quote, which essentially everyone is after, that was never my intention as I also understand quality comes with a price tag.
I questioned why he couldn’t give a bit more context and reasoning in his email (and possibly an offer to do a proper quote, if this is their preferred process) to which he then stuttered his way through outlining how busy he was.
I sent the same email to ‘Kitchens R Us’ to which they replied with an estimated cost and available times of a consultation.
I don’t get why that was so hard?

Any small issues we had were quickly rectified, to our satisfaction. The standard of joinery quality was high, well finished and Yes we would use their services again., thanks team.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Thanks Steven, Chris and the team at MK. MK designed and installed our kitchen and we are super happy with the result, it is great quality and looks beautiful! Steven managed the whole process and was always quick to respond right from the start, and was easy to deal with especially with last minute design changes from us. We had a delay at our end with painting before install, and Steven was able to move the install date around to work in with us. We highly recommend using MK for the whole kitchen design and installation process.

We were constantly updated to how progress was going and the finished product is superb. The insulation guys were respectful of our home and surrounds and cleaned up after themselves.

NONE of them were even remotely interested in a "small" job, including the firm who did the kitchen and laundry fit out in our new house 5 years ago. The ONLY firm who was interested was Modern Kitchens. They immediately said that they could and would do the job. From quote to final installation the staff at Modern Kitchens were timely, efficient, professional and friendly. We were totally rapt with the final result, and best of all we only had to wait a few weeks for the job to be completed. We would most highly recommend Modern Kitchens to anyone looking to have any type of cabinet work done, from small job to large job. A HUGE thank you to all the team at Modern Kitchens.
