β β β β β A very interesting and adventorous trip (due to high waves). The guide showed us the local Albatross colony and a couple seals and penguins. We got lucky with a few rare dolphins accompanying our boat for a short while!

β β β β β We had a great cruise and enjoyed the commentary given by a very knowledgeable crew member. Saw seals including a baby one, lots of albatrosses soaring overhead and flying above the boat as well as shags and other bird life. A highlight of our visit to the Otago Peninsula

You get warm coats and binoculars to borrow.
The crew are nature experts and are brilliant at spotting the different wildlife along the way.
With any attraction spotting wildlife, you just dont know what you will see.
On our tour we saw a little blue penguin, a few different Albatross, some Mollymawks (smaller albatross), shags and much more.
Highly recommended, every trip is different.
We did the 1hr tour from Wellers Rock as we were staying on the Peninsula, they also do a trip from Dunedin Harbour if you dont fancy the drive out to the Peninsula.

β β β β β Choose a windy day. You'll see beautiful majestic albatrosses glide right above you as well as newborn fur seal pups on the rocks and a lot more.
