★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had to wait 2.5 hours for our meal with no indication there was a long wait when ordering. The meal was nice but hard to enjoy after that wait. I later found I was charged for 2 additional drinks when reading the recept. It was a pretty bad experience

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a date night this weekend here and had the best time. Staff were friendly, food was amazing and the drinks were fast. Would highly recommend visiting. Great for family’s too as they have a playground at the back to entertain children.

BUT one big thing totally ruined it for us. The awful music. Tacky chart dance beats you might hear in bad nightclub full of 18 year old at 3am. For a chilled Sunday afternoon it was just so off, we had to move to be away from the blaring speaker. Such a shame, it would really put me off coming back or organising a get-together here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Decent coffee, good food, but service extremely slow and some staff weren’t too friendly. Almost an hour wait for a burger and took 20 minutes to deliver a glass of Sav. Loses a star as well as only two staff members were wearing their masks correctly ☹️

Not only do they create the best scones I've ever tasted the enviroment is by far the best in Wanaka. You know you've found a great place when you don't even have to get up and order and the lovely Taylor brings you your coffee order that she remembers without even having to say. Gold. Thank you Monkey Farm team!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Friendly with a great pub quiz night (We turned up as a couple, got paired with another couple, and WON!), has a reasonable selection of wine or beer, and great menu ranging from shared snacks to full-on meals. Daytime service appears to be a bit slow and affected by lack of international staff at the moment, but if you've got the time for an excellent relaxing brunch, you'll love it!
