β β β β β Went for dinner tonight, I was out voted as I am not an Indian food fan, so reluctantly went along.
What a surprise, this was without the best Indian food I have ever had. It was the Samba Masala, it was fantastic, as was the rice. Not sloppy, lots of meat. Loved it. Everyone else enjoyed their meal as well
We will definately make this our go to.
I Also have to add that the service was excellent, fast quick and very efficient
Great experience, thank you

β β β β β Mughal Kitchen have a delicious Jackfruit Masala and other dishes they can make dairy-free and vegan as well (try their Dal-e Mughal and Noor-e-Chaman). Gluten allergies are also easily accommodated. Thanks for the great food and service!

β β β β β Very good food. We always first test Indian restaurants by their onion bhajis and the ones here are excellent. The curries did not disappoint either. My husband had gethu masala and declared it was the best curry he had eaten in NZ. The service was friendly and efficient. The decor is a little spartan it has very little atmosphere.
Our second experience was as good as our first. Excellent food and good service.

β β β β β Horrible service! Only reason I am giving 2 stars is the food tastes good.
I am writing this feedback as I am still dining at the place (edited further after I reached home). Banquet Menu is full of things that they don't have and they kept on making rules as the the meal progressed. Whatever rules they told us while ordering each course of the Banquet should be documented in the Menu. Honestly I felt that we were being taken for a ride. If you cant document the T&C for Banquet in the menu, you should not be having this. I have attached the current version of Menu for reference. In retail/Consumer world it may be called as False Advertisement!
Faloda as mentioned in the response is one of 1/2 a dozen issues we encountered. We made sure initially that Falooda was available to the staff (from India). Based on affirmative response we decided to order the banquet. That was one of the key decision factor for choice of Banquet.
The staff should be trained to explain things better.
This is just my experience tonight. Please take this as a honest feedback from a customer and do everything that is needed to provide better service in future so that this experience is not experienced by another customer of yours. And also I hope that this feedback contributes as a stepping stone of your success.
Finally, we come out to your restaurant like yours for "fine dining experience". Especially driving 30 minutes from the other side of city. Thanks for making it a "bad dining experience" tonight for me with the service mentioned above.

β β β β β Highly recommended - all 4 of us had wonderful, delicious meals and drinks. I had a Lamb La Lajawab which was excellent. Enjoyed the authentic Indian atmosphere and friendly staff. It was my son's birthday and the chef treated him a free dessert. There are some interesting dish choices that aren't available in other Indian places.

β β β β β I live in Rolleston and there are a few options around for Indian food.
Came across Mughal Kitchen and it's been great so far. To an extent that I've ordered 3 times in a week.
There was a bit of an issue with my order last time and they've gone above and beyond to fix it. Exceptional customer service. Can't wait to try the Chicken Chennai today.
There's authenticity to the taste and the dishes aren't your regular fare you get at other places.
Great work team.

β β β β β Have been waiting to put up a review after trying few dishes.
Three stars just for the ambience.
When it comes to food. It does not taste good. There are two Indian restaurants in Lincon and I prefer the other one. But if you really want an authentic taste, invest some time and go to the city. There are many places there . Last two dishes I tried were okay, but felt like the base for the chicken dish, both tasted the same. Today i tried the chicken biriyani. It took 40 minutes to get it. And it tasted so bad (bland chicken mixed with some masala and rice) that I had to clear my taste buds with chocolate ice cream.
Will I buy from here again? It's a NO.
