★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to take a walk through a small forest/bush. A few shirt trails that meet at the centre that has a big open space for gatherings and kids to play. Toilet facilities at the entrance and rubbish bins strategically located.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great to escape the Auckland heat in the cool native trees. You'll come across nikau, kahikatea, totara, puriri, rimu and more. There are picnic tables and a toilet block by the car park.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great area for family activity. Murphy Road coming through the main entrance is not a safe road to drive in and out of. Be extra careful when driving in or out as it is a 80km zone.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice, clean and quite place in the middle of busy area. Can see and feel the nz bush preserved and the path made are really good, can't get lost and the arrows shows which way to go. Just love listening to the birds and nature.
