Very happy with the service recieved on my cars full service and new spark plugs. Mechanis were very transparent about costs and were able to explain everything in layman's terms to me. Polite and proffesional will definetly be back.

Loved the honesty and the speed of the work. Price was spot on, with the work done. Highly recommend Mechanics. There drop off and pick up services is free and makes getting to work so easy.

The service was really good and Mike is a very smart guy and understands a lot. But what happened to me is a bit unfortunate. I changed the battery there. Unfortunately, the original factory one was not available at the moment, and the 3rd party battery was a bit larger, so the battery cover won't fit. I asked them about the cover thing and a staff told me it's nearly useless and don't need to worry about it. I thought it made sense. the cover is just like keeping the dust away things. Like table cover, bed cover, ect. However, recently, I find that the cover is actually very essential as it protects the battery from the high temperature which is generating from the engine and the turbo. Yes, the turbo engine usually generates more heat than normal engines. It's like 80~90 degrees Celsius. If getting stuck in the traffic, which is very common in Auckland now, the heat would not be able to go away quickly enough through the air and the battery would be heated up. So without the cover, the battery life would be a lot shorter. So, I dont really know how to do about it. Maybe next time I will change back to the original factory one and buy another cover. And another thing is i went for service and it was really good, a staff even told me to come back every month to pour something in somewhere for free as he could not clean something totally. Sorry, I don't really know those terms exactly back then. I bet that's really good service. However, I went back 2 months later and the staff has changed and Mike checked the system and still didn't know about the details. But he said he would contact the staff and might get the answer. However, I didn't hear back from him over a month now. That's why I started to read something about cars and try to find out what I should pour into where and just happen to find out about that cover thing. Funny, eh... Mike is definitely a very smart guy, from the talking I know this and i guess he could possibly fix something that others might not be able to. Maybe I was just unlucky and knew too little about the cars. The rating is only about my feeling of the service I had. It doesn't mean Mike is not good at what he's doing.

Mike was great My car broke down Friday 18th june 2012 He arranged a tow truck and got sorted the next day Saturday even with a busy work load. I would recommend using Mike

Why would you go anywhere else? Read the reviews and you'll realise several things... Mike is sharp and very very well informed across a range of engines, manufacturers and products. He's affordable. There's no bull with Mychanics. They're always busy - what does that tell you? If six stars was an option, these guys would get seven! The team here are fantastic and Mike isn't afraid to tell you the absolute truth. I send colleagues and friends here regularly and they all love the service and the prices and they've ALL been really well looked after. I genuinely don't take our cars anywhere else! Oh and Mike... I still need that quote ;-)

I’m new to the area and finding a new mechanic that’s honest, reliable, well priced etc can be daunting! Mike was super nice, always picks up the phone, explained things really well, and let’s me know if things don’t actually need to be replaced to save me any $! A good sort. Cheers Mike!

Our car broke down on a day trip to Auckland from Whangarei. The team at Mychanics were fantastic - they went out of the way to help us, worked extremely quickly to diagnose the issue and organise the parts necessary to get us back on the road.
