★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lots of events are held here including the emergency evacuation center set up by Huha for all the animals which I voluntered at when the Nelson fires broke out. Here are a few pictures of the animal evacuees.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The showgrounds allows businesses flaunting covid health rules to operate on their grounds creating a risk to everyone in our community. They insist it's not their responsibility, but of course it is. If we get a super-spreader event coming out of this place we all know who to blame.
