★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My son has had severe bullying and I received an email saying that the bully blamed my son and the lady believed him. No wonder they have such bad reviews. DON'T use these people. They are absolutely useless to say the very least and have let us right down during a very distressing time.

I doubt they treat their own employees right, fabricating reasons to shift blame onto their employees and forcing them out of their jobs, while messing with a persons livelihood - instead of management taking responsibility for their own incompetence.
Your funding desperately needs to get pulled - effective immediately!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As a teacher involved with developing digital citizenship in my school I have to say that Netsafe have been a fantastic organisation to work with. They are responsive, forward-thinking and genuinely care about NZers online safety. Judging by the reviews here, I think there is a genuine misunderstanding of how much Netsafe can realistically do. They are not law-enforcement. Many of the cyber-bullying issues mentioned are a society wide issue that can't fall on the shoulders of Netsafe. If you want advice and support then definitely get in touch with them as in my experience they respond quickly with good advice. If you are the victim of serious cyber-bullying or fraud then contact the police.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I keep getting Scam Emails from Teleservice X and other ones. Every time I phone the police up they tell me to get in Contact with Netsafe. How can I get in Contact with Netsafe when I can't phone them. I have sent lots of Reports about the Scam Emails but obviously you have not received them as I have not heard back from you. What is the point of having Netsafe when you don't really help?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Netsafe are a facade/joke that take zero action on anything that they advertise on their website to help people with. They are a complete waste of time and I think their company needs to be reviewed. I hope they don't get funded to sit around and do nothing. Not surprised by all the 1 star reviews, seems like they are not really keen to help anyone if it takes them any effort. Don't bother.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I just called netsafe with a facebook issue, someone had signed in & locked me out of my account, changed the password. The lady on the phone was very helpful, she offered to stay on the line while I got it all sorted out.
