β β β β β Rang today to see if I could get an urgent appointment. Was told very abruptly that there was nothing today and the first available appoint was tomorrow at 10.30 and the cost would $130 - then told βso I should go elsewhereβ. I asked if I could be pencilled in for tomorrow and I would call back if I was able to see someone else sooner and was told βnoβ. I suggest that you save yourself the time and pain of calling here and follow their advice and go somewhere else altogether.

Unfortunately, the person that I spoke to did not explain that there was a 6 week waiting time for new patients and that they were trying to get me into a potential cancellation the next day. If that information had been provided, it would have helped me understand the situation. I appreciate you taking the time now to let me know the situation and provide context.
In terms of my attitude and failing the attitude test, that sounds like a defensive statement because I have provided feedback to you. For clarity, I didnβt call with an attitude, rather I simply rang because I was in pain and in need of a chiropractic adjustment.
No matter how it's delivered, defensiveness is a natural first response to negative feedback, but I believe that feedback while unsettling, helps people and companies learn and grow. And even though your business is successful, we tend to learn much more from our mistakes than we ever do from our successes.

β β β β β Absolutely brilliant, friendly and thorough, 1st appointment was an assessment to find exactly where the problem was with x-rays and a discussion to understand that problem and the most affective method for treatment. Have been going for around 3 months now and am noticing a huge difference in my movements.
I would highly recommend New plymouth chiropractic to anyone, it's worth every penny and then some

β β β β β I'm not sure how to rate this business. Alan is very skilled and very good. I went in for my first appointment and when I went to pay and book my next appointment, I was told that my second session would cost $105 (not $60 as is printed on website and at front desk). I left feeling pretty angry (which sucks after a good adjustment). I ended up cancelling my appointment. Let me just say, I'm not a special case...I don't have big injuries or special needs. My neck gets stiff at times and I need some hands on work. Anyways, I was left with a pretty sore body that needed that next appointment (which is normal with an adjustment). I haven't gone back. I wasn't even going to write a review except that my neck is still stiff and a bit sore and now I have to go start over with another business and more first time fees and it still annoys me. Alan is skilled that is for sure. Their advertising of prices is false....or at least it was for me.

Di is always great at fitting me in around my busy work schedule and Neil always has me leaving feeling so much better after adjustments and is very informative as to what the adjustments are and how long he expects for them to settle. Have walked in in agony and walked out feeling brand new on many occasions. Would highly recommend to anyone!

β β β β β Great place, at my first appointment I felt well taken care of, Dr Haldane is very informative and really cares about his patients health. I had 3 appointment and Dr Haldane felt like my spine was making small improvement so he told me he was going to change his adjustment on me and it made a huge difference to me. After my first appointment he gave me call after hour, saying he looked over my x-rays and to see how I was after my adjustment, this shows me how much attention and care they give to their patients. And Di at the front desk is always welcoming and makes you feel comfortable as soon as you enter the door. Definitely recommend this places to everyone!!

β β β β β I spent more than 500 dollars at the clinic over months and it didnβt help with my pain at all. In fact, I told the doctor it was more painful after his treatment but they still keeps on going to make the next appointment that cost 70 dollars each for invalid treatment but good cash in their pocket.
I have made a complaint with HDC but thought I better say something so the next person wonβt make the mistake I made.
Oh by the way, theyβll lie on the file even though I have told them that it didnβt change and the pain still the same every time I went since the second time they lie on the file and said I was better. The best way to prevent that is check what the βdoctorβ wrote after he finishes.
