★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Only supermakt in Kumeu. You can buy stuff online and pick it up late and even after time as the grocery you buy are kept in the storage lockers outside. The supermarket has plenty of parking and great produce.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Security guard and 1 younger male staff member (mid 20s) caught in the toilets smoking from what I can describe as a glass utensil. I apologized, so did they... We were on our way. The manners used after what had took place in my opinion were very professional considering

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Be wary of this store. I received a $65 parking fine for spending too long at their store carpark. Unbelievable when I was shopping in their store the whole time and spending up large pre-Xmas, and they wanted to fine me for it. The penalty came with a letter that was very unpleasant and officious.
Updating my comments as after contacting NW Kumeu Manager he waived the penalty, but is was an unpleasant and time wasting experience.
Come on New World treat your customers better than that!! At least make it a 180min time limit like other supermarkets in the region.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Spent $270 in the shop only to find my car had a flat. Didn't realise that if you are there for over 2hours you get fined. The AA took ages to come and of course I got a fine. Very stressful as I had to prove everything to the store. Put me off going for awhile I can tell you. Just be aware if you break down tell the staff it could well help.....It did get resolved thankfully.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 1st time at this store.Going in I took a trolley from the line of near the door. When I left the store I put the trolley with the other trolleys. A male staff who was sitting outside when we arrived was still there.As I moved away from leaving the trolley I heard him say......people putting trollies in the wrong place.I turned around to ask where it should have been put.He was continuing his tirade and said ,looking at me,just too lazy.I was angry so didnt say anything and walked to my car.Not the usual friendly service I recieve when shopping at New World stores.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good friendly staff, the only main supermarket in Kumeu Township. Bitbthebfull size New World you see in Hobsonville, Eastridge but have pretty much what you need. Carpark spaces are limited during busy hours and it is such a pain to get in and out off. But other than that, all good and recommends others for a visit.
