Checkout operator didn't listen to my clear request, which then led to a problem with my transaction, which led to me not having enough cash. Which in turn led to me leaving an item behind. 003 then apportioned blame on me not once but twice for the problem. When I explained clearly & politely where she'd gone wrong, 003 asked another staff member if the transaction could be redone. It was a blunt NO.
When I got home with only some of the items intended. I rang checkout customer service to discuss my transaction issues. She proceeded to offer me what she perceived as a relevant solution. It was in fact irrelevant & totally beside the point. She then passed me onto someone else, only to have to repeat the whole scenario yet again. In her credit she did apologize. However I am still without the item I went down for! What happened to customer service, not to mention a gesture of good will?!?

β β β β β Plenty of room to move around in. Great range of goods apart from some essentials like bread. Panic buying due to Omnicron arriving.? Lovely friendly staff. A pleasure to shop there.

β β β β β Purchased boneless chicken thighs which were baked, wrapped in bacon. The chicken was the toughest I have ever tasted and really disappointing. Never has such poor quality meat from NW before.

β β β β β New staff needs to be trained better with coffees. Used to be nice coffees every time. Now new staff doing something very wrong and itβs rubbish. I only take coffee now if I see one of your old girls there, itβs annoying. Can you guys train new staff so they do same job and we all can enjoy same quality coffee again. Thanks.

β β β β β Good range of products fruit and vege dept always has lovely quality produce. Butchery and fresh fish is very well presented. Great range of wines and beers.
Plus the staff are awesome in all departments.

β β β β β Some of the younger staff need to be taught the art of oral communication with older customers. They speak too fast, and not loud enough, one can't understand them. It's not their fault, it's the supermarkets, for not training them properly in how to talk to customers. Also, the lotto outlet, sometimes has you waiting too long. The old New World, had a proper kiosk! Way better, however, it's a well stocked supermarket for all that
