Only problem was that there were not enough seats and we had to wait standing up.
Overall amazing space.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 3.7 Great turf and parking. Horrible on a windy day which is often as exposed. Needs more shelter belt tree planting (current planted shrubs or trees are stunted and unlikely to reach effectiveness. I would recommend planting 'Little Big Trees' to give the site a 'leg-up'.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Two hockey turfs are great. Good for international games. Other facilities are also being built or have been. Easy parking and plenty of it. Plenty of seating too. Load better than the Harewood turf, but that's to be expected :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Maybe if they had asked somebody who had designed a facility like this before to help them they wouldn’t of wasted rate payers money so much. Not only is the layout poor it is also not designed to be effectively maintained. No doubt the people responsible will have received a certificate of participation.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sports club in the middle of Canterbury Agricultural Park. It has 3 hockey fields, an athletics arena, a small stadium, a couple of rugby league fields, a cafe, an info centre and a walking/ cycling track along the outside. Very well maintained by the City Council. A nice place to watch or participate in community sports.
