β β β β β The door we bought is not paintable. We tried to paint it three times, one time was paying to a professional and the paint still does not stick to it. What did you do to the door timber, that after numerous washings, sanding and primer the paint does not stick? We spent so much money already on this door, brand new would be much cheaper. If we could we bloody return it back to you. For those who consider using these guys, think twice.

β β β β β We recently employed No. 8 Recyclers to repair a number of large gaps in our windows that had been shaven by a previous owner. The craftmanship and attention to detail by Leo and the team is exceptional. We are absolutely wrapped with the final finish. Highly recommended.

β β β β β I recently engaged Number 8 Building Recyclers to make all the joinery for my new house. French doors, bifold windows and various other opening windows. I particularly wanted recycled native and/or cedar timber and a raw unpainted finish. The french doors and single doors were 4-pane glass with timber panels below and all had to be retrofitted with double glazing and also needed new frames. It all looks just fantastic! It has all been delivered ready for installation and I am absolutely delighted with the standard of the workmanship and their appreciation of the look I was after. This joinery is going to really set off the character of my little farmhouse. I was also very impressed with the communication of the Number 8 team letting me know when each lot was ready for delivery. The whole experience in dealing with this company has been a pleasure and I would highly recommend them to anyone wanting a character finish for their house with beautiful timber joinery. One more thing - they were significantly cheaper than all other companies I approached!

β β β β β I managed to find a craftsman door through their online site that fitted a very unusually sized cupboard in my house. The team were able to confirm quickly that they had the door in stock and organised transport to send it to me. The staff were friendly, accommodating, communicative and easy to deal with. Great customer experience all around.

β β β β β No.8 restored our front door, they did an awesome job. The whole team were great to deal with and really helpful. The photo attached is the before and after. The after photo doesnβt do it justice as looks so much better in real life. We will definitely use them again and would recommend their services.
