Bruce has been in the motor vehicle trade since the early 1990s. He has been involved in all areas of the trade and has been an integral part of award winning dealerships in the Wellington region. His last post was as General Manager at Wholesale Cars Direct up until 2009.
His vast product knowledge and relaxed approach to dealing with the public is what has been the main ingredient in the success of HVW. He thrives on making people happy and loves his trade. The referrals and repeat business he generates is a testament to his approach to people and their needs.

β β β β β Bought a black Mercedes AMG not long before lockdown, I could not get up to view due to work commitments but Bruce was super helpful at getting me a Pre Purchase Inspection and also Transport to the South Island much cheaper then what I could. I was a little apprehensive as I have never purchased sight unseen and also transferring a large sum of money to someone I had only talked to on the phone is not usually a smart thing lol Bruce was great, so friendly and not at all what you'd assume of a car salesman. β β β β β We searched for a second hand car for a week and got a great recommendation to check out Hutt Valley Wholesalers. When we arrived, Mike understood our budget and preferences and recommended MY DREAM CAR (one that I was eyeing when we walked into the showroom). He answered my burning questions with patience and kindness and we left thrilled with our buy. A few weeks later, sadly the car had a transmission issue and Mike told us to bring it over to Motor Tech where the car can be checked. Again, the process was so efficient and they loaned us one while the car was being fixed. When we return to collect our car, we were surprised to hear that our excess has been paid for by Hutt Valley Wholesalers as they felt responsible for the issue as we just bought the car. THANK YOU SO MUCH MIKE and your team for having such great after-care service and for the kind gesture. As a family that just moved to Wellington, we are touched by the kindness and honesty of the people here. For our second car, we will definitely be back!:)

Brought a car recently and had a few costly issues a few weeks after purchase (nothing wrong from their end) and they got it all sorted for me no questions asked. Really knowledgeable about their cars, but also don't pester as you are walking around browsing. Most definitely would buy from them again and would encourage everyone else to do so as well!!

β β β β β These guys are genuine people who look after their customers. I hit them up a whole year after buying my car (which hasn't missed a beat) about an issue with a wheel stud. This work had been carried out by a different company on their behalf (at the time of purchase) and they still covered the cost to get it repaired. Much appreciated. Highly recommend.

β β β β β This trader is very rude and grumpy on Trademe, if you ask any question he doesn't like will blacklist you strightawy just because he can. I asked a question on one of his listings to tell us the Engine condition, he said he is not a mechanic, I replied all dealers know something about cars that's why they are car dealers at least confirm engine is running good, And he blocked me, I used my partners account saying why did you block my such account Iam keen that's why asking, but from another city so can't view or check and Trademe is a Nationalwid website not only Wellington local, And he blocked that account too, no wonder his cars going so cheap as he blocked most of the genuine buyers. I bet there will be 1000s of blocked members if you look at his blacklist folder, feeling sorry for him ?
