Came into store today as I had really been wanting a portable speaker for some time now. Found myself with a bit of extra time this Saturday and with all the black Friday deals, decided to go on the hunt.
Found a Sony one for just under $600, love it, it is great!
The customer service on the other hand, was lacking. The sales man put in more effort trying to sell me the extended warranty then he did making sure I was a satisfied customer.
Firstly, he told me that he could not/ would not redeem my PSA discount, a discount that comes from being in the Health care industry.
Secondly, he told me that they had no optical to aux cables/ adapters...they did intfact have them. I found this out once I got to my car and googled where to get them from.
Lastly, he was not at all interested in helping me to get this very big speaker to my car.
I told him that I was parked just around the corner, outside of Fish Town, the look on his face said, you are on your own with this.
If I had not been so tired, and wanting to get home, I would have left without buying.
I would rather drive to Lower Hutt then deal with that store again.
