★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We arrived as a group of give wanting coffee and breakfast. Took a bit of time with all the ordering so one member of the party relooked at the food prior to her ordering coffee.
She stepped back to order coffee and another couple walked in and was about to order . The waitress as the person in our party to now wait while the waitress took the new ordered.
In the meantime, our party were drinking coffee eating food.
After talking to manager group left grumbling about the really bad service from both manager and waitress. The one person had not coffee or breakfast.
Never will come in again and will spread the news

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just a quick shout out to the team at Nor'Wester Cafe. We dropped in on the way back to Christchurch for a quick bite and the pleasant staff said they'd happily whip us up a risotto to suit our dietary needs. The risotto arrived in 10 minutes (from scratch) and was incredibly tasty. We thanked them and made it back to CHCH in the time needed. Great service, great food. Thank you.
