★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Realy nice hut, well maintained. Great place to stay and recover some energy from the long walk. The bad thing about this hut is that is so much overbooked and sometimes people book it and don't even show up but that is like with other huts too. Enjoy Stewart Island. Cheers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent Great Walk DOC hut. Clean and fresh. Unlike other great walk huts no gas is provided. Matresses provided. Long drop toilets with loo roll. Set just back from the water and well located for swimming. Friendly local deer.
