★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lorna worked with my 12 year old daughter for 5 months, in preparation for her orthodonture treatment, as my daughter had a narrow and vaulted upper palette and much wider lower jaw due to her tongue constantly resting at the bottom of her mouth.
Lorna was amazing - she has a very pleasant, calming, and encouraging nature, and is a pleasure to work with. Every 3 weeks she gave my daughter a set of exercises to do, which my daughter worked hard on and managed to do most days over the 5 months.
I cannot recommend Lorna and Northland OFM enough - the results were incredible. A gap in my daughter's teeth disappeared, her speech improved dramatically, her lips changed shape to become more balanced, and her posture and skin improved. I now have confidence that the time and expense I am about to invest into the orthodonture treatment will have the long lasting effects it is intended to.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My 12 year old son had treatment with Lorna after being referred by Kowhai Dental before they commenced brace treatment.
I was unfamiliar with the orofacial myology therapy at the start so had no idea what to expect.
From start to finish we found Lorna to be an incredibly professional, knowledgeable and caring individual who always carefully explained everything in detail, communicated regularly checking all was well with the exercises at home and made the exercises fun with fabulous materials supplied alongside her great enthusiasm.
I would highly recommend her and the service she provides.
Thank you Lorna for making such a difference and for making the journey such an enjoyable one.

I have a large overbite and am preparing for Braces - there is a massive difference in my teeth since five months ago and this has already given me so much more confidence, not only in myself but also that there will be less work involved with my Braces (and my teeth will stay that way). I was referred to NorthlandOFM by Kowhai Dental for my 19 year old son who is having orthondontic treatment. Lorna has such an engaging way of explaining the work she does, we went away with sound knowledge and understanding. She's super enthusiastic about her work and a joy to communicate with. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I thank God I found Lorna. I sought Lorna out after realizing my 12 year old daughters mouth breathing was severely affecting her health and quality of life. My daughter had a myriad of issues including eating difficulties, lip sucking, mumbled speech, headaches, sore back, poor quality sleep, poor memory and ADHD behaviours. She no longer suffers from any of those issues and the difference is nothing short of amazing!
My family and I highly recommend Lornas services. Her program has completely changed our lives and we will be forever grateful. The program is super fun, easy, quick and simple. My daughter is the most stubborn and resistant person I know so I really didnt think she would cooperate but she loved it and looked forward to every appointment. My only regret is that we didnt find Lorna sooner.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My 9 year old was referred to Lorna by Kowhai Dental. My son had a tongue thrust, unable to open his mouth properly, was a mouth breather 70% of the time, and had difficulties with eating and drinking properly due to poor muscle function.
Working with Lorna over 6 months my son is now able to open his mouth properly, is a nose breather 95% of the time, is able to eat and drink properly as his muscles have been strengthened by the exercises that Lorna had given him.
Lorna’s personality was key to my son’s progress. Her passion for her work, the way in which she related and communicated with my son and myself made this whole experience easier. I Am extremely grateful for the work she has done with our boy! Thank you Lorna ??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lorna is so great at what she does! Highly recommend seeing her to help fix all things mouth, breathing, eating related. I was a shocking mouth breather amongst other issues and now can have my mouth comfortably closed breathing. I wish I had solved these issues years ago but so grateful I can now breathe and eat properly.
