★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This lavender farm is really cute. The entrance fee is 8 NZD or you can buy some stuff from their tourist store and if the amount is more than 40 bucks the entrance fee will be waived. The farm is huge and it gets an accessible location along the road on the way to Mt Cook. We visited the farm in December and the flowers were not yet fully bloomed. We were told that early January is the best time to see the full beauty of the farm. Indeed, picturesque farm with windmills that add beauty into the place. I'd fully recommend this place. Finally, if you visit in Summer, don't forget to buy some ice cream there while enjoying the Summer heat.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was a magical experience going out to lavender farm. The fresh air full of lavender smell with lavender ice cream was lovely. I highly recommend this place. For instagrammers on way to Mt Cook or Queenstown, this would be a ideal location for your photographs.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worth stopping by or taking a detour enroute Queenstown. Nice, quite spot packed with little things for some Insta worthy photos. Suitable for photoshoots. Lavender ice cream is a must try. But if you don’t prefer lavender flavour then they can make fresh fruit ice with lavender. We had the blueberry lavender ice cream hence the colour

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was a lovely surprise to see. Simple and effective little stop. Free to wonder around the lavendar. Stop off for a lavender ice cream for the full experience purchase something from the gift shop. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable.

The ice cream is real fruit or chocolate or vanilla mixed with lavender. You can request it without the lavender.
They are $8 each.
Long queues however and not a lot of seating. My friends and I sat on the ground trying to find a shade, it was just fine.
They have a lil shop selling their products and soft toys.
For $5 you get to go into the lavender fields and take lots of photos for the ‘gram.
